EXERCISE CAN CONTINUE ON WET DAYS

Wet weather doesn’t mean your ability to exercise has to stop. There are plenty of ways to get your heart rate up while stuck inside at home in order to get your 30 mins of exercise/day.

Why not try:

A circuit:

· Step ups onto a low stool or internal step 5x 1min alternating legs

· Sit to stands out of a chair 5x 1 min

· Walking lunges down the hallway or across the room 5x 1min alternating legs

· Jumping squats 3 x 10-12reps

· Basic resistance exercises for biceps/triceps/shoulder press with hand weight or can from the pantry 3 x 10-12 reps

· Banded exercises around knees/ankles side stepping or side lying leg lifts 3x 10-12 reps


Stationary cycling 20 mins
