REFERRALS

A referral is required prior to all consultations. There are no patient surcharges for ACC appointments. We are Southern Cross affiliated and have a good relationship with other insurers.

ACUTE KNEE CLINIC

Please highlight ACUTE CLINIC on the referral form so the referral can be correctly prioritised. Acute appointments are reserved for new knee injuries where ligamentous/significant pathology is suspected.

TREATMENTS AVAILABLE

I: Ultrasound guided injections:

Autologous injections, including:
- Autologous Protein Solution (APS)
Cortisone
Hyaluronic Acid

II: Shock Wave Therapy

REFERRALS

A referral is needed for all consultations to see our Doctors. These can be provided by your Doctor, physiotherapist or most other treatment providers. Your letter will be triaged by our Doctors prior to an appointment being scheduled.

CLOTHING

Please wear comfortable clothing to the consultation, or bring shorts/singlet with you. For example: shorts for a knee/lower limb assessment, bra/singlet for a shoulder assessment.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Failure to attend or not notify the clinic within 4 hours of the appointment will incur a cancellation fee.

TELEHEALTH

Telehealth consultations are available where appropriate. Please ask if this is a suitable option for you.
