ACUTE KNEE INJURY CLINIC

Did you hurt your knee playing sport this weekend? Did you change direction/twist or turn and feel a pop? Is your knee swollen and is it hard to walk?

We offer prompt appointments for those who have a new knee injury, where ligaments or menisci may be have been injured. You will need an ACC claim registered and a referral from your GP or physiotherapist. If the referral is marked 'acute knee clinic' it is helpful.

These types of appointments are for those without arthritis or chronic knee pain/issues. We reserve appointments in this clinic for the acute sporting injury; to aid with diagnosis, early management and referral as needed.
